Camp Indian Trails

Camp Indian Trails is comprised of approximately 173 acres of pristine woodlands about seven miles northwest of Janesville. The camp is nestled along the Rock River on the edge of historic Blackhawk County. History making treaty talks were held on these very campsites. Blackhawk and his warriors camped on these grounds as they fished, hunted, and fought through the area. Arrowheads, axes and other artifacts were found over the years along the river.

There are fourteen campsites and other facilities available to Scouts of all ages. Programs offered at CIT include Boy Scout Summer Camp, Scout Day Camp, Cub Scout Resident Camp, Climbing, unit camping and family camping and a variety of special events and programs.

The address of Camp Indian Trails is 5801 North River Road, Janesville WI 53545
