Volunteer, Paid Staff and Sponsorship Opportunities
Summer Camp is the highlight of a Scout’s Year and is a great addition to a Unit’s program. Our Council Camps are wonderful venues to host Summer Camp and provide year around opportunities for units to camp and to meet the unit’s goals. Our camps also host special events and training for youth and adults.
Operating Summer Camp programs and maintaining our camps takes a tremendous effort by our volunteers, unit leaders, summer camp staff, and professional staff. Also important in keeping the cost to our Scouts as low as possible is monetary support from our friends through the Friends of Scouting program as well as direct support through the purchase of supplies and equipment for the camp programs and funds for facilities at our camp property.
