Sign in will start at 8:00am – Classes will begin at 9:00am
Classes will last to between 3pm and 4pm

This fall we are offering Merit Badge Clinic at Blackhawk Tech between Janesville and Beloit for the following merit
badges. The cost will $5.00 and registration will be on a first paid basis. A Scoutmaster-signed blue card is needed for
every Scout taking a Merit Badge. Registrations can be made at either Council Service Centers.

SPACE EXPLORATION – Prerequisite #2 – Maximum of 30 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor. Additional cost of $5 for rocket materials

FINGERPRINTING – No Prerequisites – Maximum of 15 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

ELECTRONICS – Prerequisite #6 – Maximum of 24 scouts
Req. #6 - Find out about three career opportunities in electronics that interest you. Be prepared to discuss them
in the class. Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor. Additional cost of $5 for project materials.

TRUCK TRANSPORTATION – No Prerequisites - Maximum of 30 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

COMPUTERS – No Prerequisites - Maximum of 24 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

ELECTRICITY – Prerequisite #2 – Maximum of 20 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

TRACKING – Prerequisite #?? – Maximum of 25 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor and possibly for transportation.

SCOUTING HERITAGE – No Prerequisites – Maximum of 12 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

PATHFINDING – Prerequisite #6 Research and document history of the area around their Scout
meeting place. Also, bring an 11x17 inch map showing a 3 mile radius around where their Troop
meets. Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor– Maximum of 25 scouts.

DISABILITIES AWARENESS – Prerequisites #2, 4c, 5c, and 7– Maximum of 20 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

PLUMBING – No Prerequisites – Maximum of 15 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor and to transport scouts to Camp Indian Trails.

LEATHERWORK – No Prerequisites – Maximum of 20 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor

ENGINEERING -- No Prerequisites – Maximum of 20 scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor.

CARPENTRY -- No Prerequisites ?? – Maximum of ?? scouts
Will need a couple of adults to help the merit badge instructor.
